Brazilian Traditions
Capeoira is a form of martial arts that is unique to Brazil. Capeoira
originated from the African people in Brazil's culture.
Soccer did not originate in Brazil, but playing and/or watching soccer is
still a large tradition in Brazil's culture.
Celebrations and carnivals are Brazilian traditions. Lemanja and Boa Morte
are two very famous celebrations that take place in Brazil. Salvador is the home
of Boa Morte which is a three day religious celebration with religion, music,
and dance. The celebrations and carnivals are good representations or the mixing
of African, Portuguese, and Native Indian Cultures.
